A payment method is missing at checkout
A tender you expect (card, PayNow, points, store credit…) isn't offered when taking payment.
Symptoms
- A payment option you set up doesn't appear at the POS.
- Card or automatic PayNow isn't available.
Likely causes
- Integrated methods aren't enabled yet. Integrated card terminals/gateways (Adyen, Stripe, etc.) and automatic PayNow are switched on by the Rewardly team, not self-serve.
- The method isn't created under Payment Methods.
- Outlet scope — the method isn't enabled for this outlet/register.
- A prerequisite setting is off — e.g. loyalty or store-credit redemption (each has its own switch).
How to fix
- For cash, points, store credit, and Manual PayNow — you can add these yourself under Payment Methods. Create the method with the correct type (e.g. Loyalty, Store Value, Manual PayNow).
- For integrated card payments or automatic PayNow, contact Rewardly support to enable them — see Card & Terminal Payments and QR & Digital Wallets.
- Confirm the method is enabled for the outlet/register you're using.
- For points or store credit specifically, also check their enabling switches in Merchant Settings (see can't redeem points and store credit payment failing).
