Card & Terminal Payments

Overview

Rewardly integrates with a range of card processors and payment terminals, so the POS can take card payments directly — and, in some cases, settle them on the tablet itself with no separate terminal.

How it works

Each card processor is a payment method type. Because card payments need gateway credentials (API keys, merchant accounts, terminal IDs), these are connected by the Rewardly team, not self-served by merchants.

Card gateways are set up by Rewardly

To add a card processor, contact Rewardly support. Once they've connected it, it appears as a Type option you can add under Payment Methods and place on the POS.

Supported processors

Default setup

  1. Contact Rewardly support and tell them which processor you use.
  2. They connect the gateway with your credentials.
  3. Once enabled, open Payment MethodsCreate, pick the processor as the Type, give it a POS label, and assign it to your outlets.
  4. It now appears as a payment tile on the POS.

Advanced options

TopicDetail
Terminal vs onlineA processor like Adyen can be set up for a physical terminal, for online payments, or both.
Tap to PayAdyen Tap to Pay takes contactless cards on the tablet; the on-screen tap position is configurable.
Fiuu CloudECR / VT+A softpos mode that runs the card reader on the same device.

Card payments generally need an internet connection — most will be blocked if the tablet is offline.
