Self-Service Kiosk

Overview

The self-service kiosk is a customer-operated ordering terminal — an Android tablet, usually mounted at your entrance. Customers choose dine-in or pickup, browse the menu, optionally sign in as a member, and check out themselves.

How it works

  • Each physical kiosk has its own kiosk device account and login, set up for you by the Rewardly team.
  • The kiosk shows the menu for its outlet.
  • After checkout it can issue a pager/buzzer number or a table number.
  • Members can sign in on the kiosk to earn and redeem.

Default setup

Bean & Brew example: one entrance kiosk for dine-in and pickup orders.

  1. Contact Rewardly support to have a kiosk device account provisioned — you can't create one yourself. Tell them:
    • Outlet and Outlet Register — what the kiosk belongs to
    • Order modesDine In, Pickup, and/or Pay Bill
    • Member login type — how members sign in (show QR, phone, OTP, scan QR)
  2. Log the kiosk tablet in with the username and password the Rewardly team gives you.
